Through January 29th you can visit an exhibition "Tsunami: Science and Hope" at Chicago's Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum on 2430 North Cannon Drive. The exhibition displays the devastating results of an Indian ocean tsunami that took away many lives. Among the exhibits there are original photographs by Heifer International that documented the destruction and rebuilding over the past year. Lauren von Klan, the Nature Museum President, says the exhibition shows both the geologic and personal sides of the natural disaster and notifies that the aim of the display is encourage Chicagoans to think about preparing for the extremes of nature.
