According to a news release from the Chicago Department of Aviation, about 2.5 million travelers were expected to pass through O'Hare and Midway international airports during the Christmas and New Year's holiday season. However, if you carry gifts in your bag, you may face some problems – for instance, imagine that you are asked to show what’s inside the gift box… in that case, you’ll have to unwrap and thus spoil it. That’s why the Transportation Security Administration asked travelers not to bring wrapped gifts with them and provided free gift-wrapping services in the airports from Monday until Friday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at O'Hare and from noon to 4 p.m. at Midway. The gift-wrappers will offer many holiday-theme wrapping papers and gift bag designs, including a design by Gallery 37 art students.
