There has recently been opened another exhibition at the Art Institute of Chicago called "The Concerned Photographer." The exhibition features 70 photos made by 15 photographers who demonstrate the dark side of the 20th century and turn their art into a tool for political and social change. The focus is the problem of war, ethics, human rights and the limits of human sufferings and among the famous photographers are Margaret Bourke-White, W. Eugene Smith, Danny Lyon, Susan Meiselas and others. The exhibition runs through June 11 and will not travel.
