Sam's Wines & Spirits restaurant has recently opened it’s third location in Chicago - this time on Highland Park. Visitors to the restaurant may still enjoy what they liked so much at Sam's Near North Side venue: drink tastings, samplings of five-year-old gouda, different classes etc. But the new store also boasts a wine lounge for 35 seats that serves 12 wines by the glass, a rental party room/ demonstration kitchen for 50 seats, which will accommodate parties and meetings, and a Vosges chocolate area and a Riedel glassware room. And, there's the massive assortment of increasingly popular wine, the U.S. consumption of which jumped 14 percent last year. Sam's sells about 8,600 wines.
