Valentines day is the day for couples to forget their quarrels and spend the day together. But if you want to spend your time in a theater, you must remember that without marriages, adultery and other mayhem in the madhouse of relationships there would be no theater. The play “Fences” is a good example of this. The performance is about a young couple - Troy Maxson and his wife of 18 years, Rose, who argue about many things, yet seem wholly devoted to each other - until, that is, Troy has an affair, and a baby, with a younger woman. This August Wilson's is performed at the Court Theatre
